I have to say Michael went out of his way on the job. We were very specific about the stone we wanted, and he went to a lot of trouble to source it. Michael was straight up and honest. And his crew were great as well, they were good guys.
A very large back patio and a front driveway. The patio was done in patio slabs and the driveway was tarmacadam.
I saw their van in a couple of places in our locality. So, one day, I stopped the van and had a look at their work when they weren't around. It looked fine so we contacted Michael and he came out and costed it up.
We had previously talked to other contractors but we liked what Michael had done and we liked his attitude. Also a friend of a friend had got Michael to do some work, so we'd a recommendation from there.

We wanted a little bit of cobblelock in the front, and a little bit of pebble in the back. Michael came up with a couple of ideas for that which worked in with the overall plan really well.
They came when they said they'd come. Like any project like that, it was a bit messy but nothing too extreme. When the job was finished, we were asked about what we wanted to keep and everything was taken away that wasn't required. The place was kept in very good order. And we were happy with the workmanship.
The patio. We'd worked from the back of the garden back towards the house. So when Michael did the patio, it was the last piece of the puzzle. And it was that great feeling of everything coming together. The patio really finished things off perfectly.
The job was done to our specification, within our time frame and to our immense satisfaction.
